Tottenham Hotspur are set to take on Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium in Saturday afternoon’s Premier League encounter.
Thomas Frank’s side are coming off a 1-0 win against Villarreal in the Champions League, building off their emphatic 3-0 victory away to West Ham United in the Premier League.
The Lilywhites are looking to make it three wins in a row and continue their fine start to the season when they square up to Brighton this weekend.
The last time Tottenham faced Brighton, they fell to a crushing 4-1 defeat on home soil. Their previous trip to the Amex didn’t yield a positive result either, with the Lilywhites losing 3-2.
How Spurs could line up
Tottenham will head to the south coast short on numbers when they face Brighton on Saturday.
Up to six players are set to miss out for Spurs, with striker Dominic Solanke still recovering from an ankle problem despite returning to training this week.
He joins Yves Bissouma, Kota Takai, James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and Radu Dragusin on the sidelines, leaving Frank with plenty to consider.
However, there is some positive news, with left-back Destiny Udogie back in contention and could start ahead of Djed Spence.
Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro are expected to hold their spots in defence, with Guglielmo Vicario in goal.
Joao Palhinha will be pushing for a recall to the starting XI at the expense of Rodrigo Bentancur.
Pape Sarr and Lucas Bergvall were both on the scoresheet in last weekend’s 3-0 victory over West Ham and are likely to keep their places in midfield.
While Solanke wouldn’t be available to lead the line, Frank still has to choose between Mathys Tel, Richarlison, and Randal Kolo Muani.
Xavi Simons and Mohammed Kudus could once again operate from wide areas, although Brennan Johnson could return to the line-up.
Potential starting line-up;
(4-3-3): Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Sarr, Palhinha, Bergvall; Kudus, Richarlison, Simons
