Tottenham Hotspur are readying a shock summer move for Arsenal defender Calum Chambers, according to the Daily Mail.
The 22-year-old joined the Gunners in 2014 from the-then Mauricio Pochettino managed Southampton for £16million plus add-ons following a string of fine performances under the Argentine’s watch.

However, since his arrival at the Emirates Stadium, the England international has struggled to justify his price-tag, and is currently seen as surplus to requirements by Arsene Wenger – who sent the right-back out on-loan to Premier League strugglers Middlesbrough at the beginning of this season.
But the 45-year-old Spurs boss is now keen to be reunited with his former youngster and is monitoring Chambers’ situation – a player he promoted to the first-team during his year-long tenure at the St Mary’s stadium.
If an agreement was to be met between the two North London rivals it would break a current seven-year stand-off – with William Gallas the last man to move from one club to the other in 2010 on a free-transfer.
