Tottenham Hotspur have received a huge boost ahead of their trip to Swansea City on Wednesday night as Victor Wanyama is thought to have travelled with the squad to the Liberty Stadium following a late fitness test.
The Kenya international was forced from the field of play shortly before half-time during Spurs’ 2-0 win at Burnley on Saturday due to with a back problem, but according to the London Evening Standard the former Southampton man is thought to have overcome the knock and will at least make the bench.

The 25-year-old was one of two casualties during last weekends victory alongside fellow midfielder Harry Winks – who has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering ankle ligament damage.
Elsewhere, the North London giants will also be without star-striker Harry Kane for the third consecutive fixture as the 23-year-old continues to recover from an ankle injury picked up during the Premier League side’s 6-0 hammering of Millwall in their FA Cup fixture last month.
Left-back Danny Rose will also be missing from the first-team squad due to a knee-ligament injury picked up earlier this season as well as Erik Lamela – who will unlikely feature again this campaign.
