White Heart Lane has been developed from one man’s love of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
This love spawned when Paul Gascoigne stepped up to take a free kick against a team in red in the FA Cup semi-final on April 14, 1991. The unstoppable strike nestled in the roof of the Wembley goal, the mercurial number eight ran away celebrating like a man possessed and the fans descended into rapture.
Since then there have been a multitude of good, bad and apathetic days. There has been Jurgen Klinsmann, David Ginola, Gareth Bale and the right honourable Ledley King. There has also been Moussa Saib, Paolo Tramezzani, Pascal Chimbonda (twice) and an unspeakable amount of other forgettable names.
White Heart Lane is designed to be a forum of news, opinions, reaction and comment from this Spurs fan and the multitude of Tottenham supporters around the world.
