Ben Davies is reportedly set to sign a new four-year deal worth £12 million with Tottenham Hotspur, according to The Sun.
The 23-year-old has previously been rumoured to be leaving White Hart Lane during the January transfer window but with the absence of Danny Rose, the defender has filled in impressively and regained favour at the club.
The Welshman still has two years left on his current contract but it is believed that the North London team is keen to secure the left back with a long-term deal.
It is rumoured that Davies will be earning around £60,000 per week with the new arrangements.
The former Swansea City defender has had limited game time under Pochettino starting in just seven Premier League games so far this season. However, he has performed well when called upon and has proven to be adequate at the left-back position.
A number of Spurs players including Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris, Dele Alli, Kyle Walker, Jan Vertonghen, Eric Dier and Christian Eriksen have already renewed their contracts.
