Former England forward Emile Heskey believes that Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane is worth more than Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.
The Spurs hitman has notched 13 goals in 14 appearances for his club this season, leading to speculation that he could be on his way to one of Europe’s biggest sides.
Whilst Heskey does not believe that Kane wants to leave in the near future, he is confident that if he does decide to move on then the Lilywhites will receive a huge transfer fee for his services.
“Harry Kane is worth more than Kylian Mbappe,” the 39-year-old told Sportingbet.com.
“Tottenham have a long history of getting the maximum transfer fee when selling their players.
“Harry Kane could even break the £200m mark if he continues in this form because Tottenham will fight tooth and nail to keep him.”
Mbappe controversially agreed to join PSG for around €180 million from Monaco earlier this summer, with the deal set to go through officially at the end of the season in order to comply with financial fair play rules.
The teenager is currently on loan in the French capital, where he has found the net on six occasions this term.
It is a mark of Kane’s incredible progress over the last few years that he is now talked about in such illustrious company and if fit he will no doubt play a pivotal role when Tottenham take on rivals Arsenal after the international break.
The 24-year-old has not joined up with the England squad for friendly fixtures against Germany and Brazil over the coming week, with Spurs fans hoping that the injury is not too serious.
