Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente made the most of his chance to play on Wednesday night, scoring a hat-trick in the 6-1 FA Cup win over Rochdale at Wembley.
The Spanish striker was signed last summer to provide competition for places in the Spurs attack, but has found the going tough in North London so far.

With Harry Kane as Tottenham’s talisman, Llorente has had to make-do with limited opportunities and as such he has struggled to build momentum at the club.
The veteran centre forward has also been guilty of missing chances in front of goal in important matches.
However, the Tottenham fans were quick to congratulate the striker on Twitter after his hat-trick and will now hope that Llorente can play an important role for the club during the remainder of the season.
Playing back-up to Kane would be a big ask for any centre forward and the Spaniard clearly has suffered due to not playing regularly.
However, Llorente’s positive attitude, experience and ability in the air can still be important attributes for Tottenham as the side look to finish the campaign on a high.
Here’s hoping that the hat-trick gives Llorente more confidence and self-belief, as the striker could yet play a role in Spurs’ search for silverware in 2017-18.
