Inter Milan have reignited their interest in Tottenham Hotspur’s Djed Spence, with the Italian giants preparing a new proposal worth around €35 million, according to SportMediaset.
Fresh contacts between the two clubs are expected in the coming days as Inter accelerate their search for a first-choice wing-back.
The path to Spence has reopened after the Nerazzurri explored other options to strengthen Cristian Chivu’s squad following Denzel Dumfries’ move to Real Madrid earlier in the window.
Spence’s elite recovery speed and ability to operate as a full-back or wing-back on either flank make him highly appreciated by the Italian champions.
After establishing himself as a reliable performer at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during the second half of the season, Spence starred for England at the 2026 World Cup, featuring in all eight matches as the Three Lions finished third.
Despite his impressive international displays, the 26-year-old faces intense competition at Tottenham. With Pedro Porro established at right-back and Destiny Udogie joined by summer signing Andy Robertson on the left, new manager Roberto De Zerbi cannot guarantee Spence regular starts.

He is understood to be open to returning to Italy and joining Inter, seeing a starting role at San Siro as the ideal platform to maintain his momentum.
