Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is likely to shuffle his pack for Sunday’s FA Cup clash against Fulham and Vincent Janssen should be given a chance to play.
The Dutch striker has been less than convincing since his summer arrival and was not in the matchday 18 for the Europa League defeat to Gent on Thursday night.
Janssen has been vocal in the press over the last week stating that he is committed to succeeding at Tottenham and there are small signs that he could be a useful player.
However, the problem has been that the Netherlands international never gets the chance to play or to build momentum or continuity.
Janssen’s involvement at Spurs in the last three months has been ten minutes here and there off the bench – how is he supposed to make an impression in such little time?
With Harry Kane nursing a knee injury, the former AZ Alkmaar man should lead the line for Tottenham on Sunday and be given 90 minutes to prove himself.
