Harry Kane has mocked his disastrous penalty against Southampton last night – by offering his kicking services to any NFL teams in need of a kicker.

The 23-year-old striker looked to be in fine form last night against the Saints, powering home a second-half header to give Spurs the lead despite having fallen behind in the second minute.

However, when the opportunity came for Kane to double his tally for the evening from the penalty spot, he fluffed his lines spectacularly with the spot kick flying well over the bar and into the stands – an effort that wouldn’t be out of place at the Superbowl.

Fortunately, the Lilywhites went on to win 4-1 against a combatant Southampton team, rendering Kane’s missed penalty redundant in the grand scheme of things, although it is unlikely that the England international would have seen the funny side of things had they gone on to lose the game.
