Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has labelled Harry Kane as one of the best strikers in the world and believes he has the potential to become a Spurs legend.
The North London side comfortably defeated Stoke City 4-0 on the weekend and the 23-year-old scored his third hat-trick of 2017, surpassing the 100 goals mark in his club career.
Kane’s efforts gifted Spurs their eighth-straight Premier League win at White Hart Lane and Pochettino has nothing but praise for the England international.
The Spurs boss commended the striker for his professionalism and believes that he is well on his way to become a club legend
“Harry has the profile to be a legend. Maybe he’s starting to be a legend with the goals he’s scoring and the way he behaves,” The Mirror quotes Pochettino as saying.
“He is so professional. He has the perfect profile to be a legend here. He has his character.
“I am pleased for him. He deserves it. He is very professional. A top man and I’m happy. It’s nothing new for me. I’ve said many times before that for me Harry is one of the best strikers in the world.”
The lethal and unstoppable goal-scorer now has more hat-tricks for the North Londoners than any other player in the club’s history.
With the victory against Stoke the Lilywhites have moved above Manchester City to second place in the Premier League table, ten points behind leaders Chelsea.
