Report: Tottenham not interested in three attackers previously linked

Tottenham Hotspur are not interested in deals for Jesse Lingard, Alexander Sorloth or Wout Weghorst, according to Football London

Spurs have been linked with a lot of potential new attacking options this summer, with manager Jose Mourinho admitting he wants an extra striker in his squad by the time the transfer window closes on October 5.

Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Son Heung-min showed just how deadly they can be in the 5-2 win over Southampton on Sunday, while Gareth Bale has been added to the North London club’s attacking weaponry.

However, Spurs do not have a back-up centre forward to Kane and will need alternative options as the team competes in four competitions in 2020-21.

Tottenham are back in action this week with a Carabao Cup clash against Leyton Orient on Tuesday night, a Europa League game against Shkendija in Macedonia on Thursday night and a Premier League fixture against Newcastle on Sunday.

Spurs fans will hope that an additional attacking option joins Mourinho’s squad in the next fortnight, but it appears that none of the previously mentioned trio will be moving to North London.
