Tottenham Hotspur advanced to the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday by beating London side Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage.
Harry Kane’s superb hat-trick gifted Spurs the comfortable win, earning him man of the match. However, fans online were also particularly impressed with Harry Winks, who gave an assured performance.
The 21-year-old made his full debut for the Lilywhites back in November and has since gone from strength-to-strength.
Having emerged from the club’s youth system, the versatile midfielder has made 19 appearances for the North London side this season and has quickly integrated himself as an important part of the team’s success.
His consistency and accurate passing abilities during the FA Cup fixture did not go unnoticed as many fans praised him for his talents.
Many believe Winks has earned a regular place in the first team, some even drew comparisons between him and former Spurs men Scott Parker and Luka Modric.
