Tottenham Hotspur reportedly sent scouts to watch Barcelona striker Vitor Roque, according to Samuelson Silva. The north Londoners have been linked with the Brazilian and sent people to get more information about the player.
After tearing up the Brazilian top flight, Roque earned a reputation as one of the best talents in South America, and European clubs lined up to sign him.
Barcelona snapped up Roque in January in a deal worth around €31 million fixed plus another €31m in add-ons. His contract states that he can receive up to €5m for winning the Ballon d’Or, showing the potential scouts saw in him, but he struggled for game time at the club.
