Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, according to Sport.
Spurs are chasing the 70-cap England international as he will be on the move this summer.
Rashford is currently on loan at Barcelona and is ready to join them permanently.
However, Barca don’t want to pay the £26 million purchase clause required to sign him permanently.
There are also concerns about his salary, which is leading the Spanish club to have second thoughts.
Rashford has bounced back in Spain after some disappointing campaigns in England, recording 13 goals and 13 assists in 45 appearances.
He has been key to Barcelona’s campaign, and they are on course to retain their La Liga crown. But they have doubts, and that can play into Spurs’ hands.
If the opportunity arises, Tottenham must do everything to be at the front of the queue to sign Rashford.

At £26 million, in today’s market, the deal would carry surprisingly little risk for a player entering his prime years.
Rashford is a proven Premier League forward who can immediately elevate the level of this attack.
